Dele Alli, Donny van de Beek to start, four changes: Everton predicted XI v Leeds United

Frank Lampard is predicted to make four changes to his starting line-up as Everton face Leeds United at Goodison Park on Saturday.

Dele Alli and Donny van de Beek are both expected to be handed their full debuts after coming off the bench in the 3-1 defeat at Newcastle on Tuesday.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Jonjoe Kenny could also come into the side with Lampard potentially being forced to change his formation amid a defensive injury crisis.

In that loss at St James’ Park, Everton suffered injury blows to Demarai Gray and Yerry Mina while left-back Vitaly Mykolenko has been missing through illness and Ben Godfrey has also been injured [Liverpool Echo].

Gray and Mina seem as though they will drop out after being forced off in the first half at Newcastle while Lampard could also decide to axe Andre Gomes and Andros Townsend.

Jordan Pickford is predicted to start in goals behind a flat back-four of Seamus Coleman, Mason Holgate, Michael Keane and Kenny.

Manchester United loanee van de Beek could start in the deeper-lying midfield area alongside Allan.

Anthony Gordon was Everton’s brightest spark on Tuesday night at Newcastle and is predicted to retain his spot on the right-hand side of Lampard’s attack. Richarlison could play on the left and Alli might be played in an attacking midfield slot to make his full debut.

Up front, Calvert-Lewin should be available to play and we expect him to start based on how badly the Blues played earlier this week.

In other Everton news, Neil Lennon was furious with this “shocker” of an incident in the second half at Newcastle.
