View: Everton fans must change the atmosphere at Goodison Park
Everton must understand the importance of their fans and do everything within their power to get them back on side at Goodison Park.
The atmosphere at St. James’ Park as the Blues lost to Newcastle on Tuesday night (February 8) was electric.
It was one of the key factors that swung the match as the players seemed in awe of what a stadium full of support can do to a team.

Flags were handed out before the game to boost the atmosphere and the club must learn from such atmosphere boosting techniques.
Frank Lampard and co will leave no stone unturned in the crucial fight to stay in the Premier League and they have to utilise their secret weapon, the support of the Scousers.
Unity is strength
The atmosphere in the stadium can turn any game on its head, even win you the game before a ball is kicked if strong enough and the Toffees are more than capable of creating that type of hostility.
The last few months has seen the Blues fans make enough noise booing, moaning and flying ‘sack the board’ banners but now it’s time to get behind Lampard and the boys.

Goodison used to be a formidable fortress where the best of teams would come and face a real match but with the completely disconnected unity at the club that is far from the case now.
We now have a new manager looking to turn things around at the club and he and the players must feel the fans’ unwavering support.
Yes, things haven’t been the best at the club for a little while but dwelling on past mistakes won’t make a difference.
The fans need to do their bit whilst the players and new manager do theirs.
In other Toffees news, Everton should have gone for Wayne Rooney as manager – Louis Saha.
