Jim White: Marcelo Bielsa is worst possible opponent for Frank Lampard and Everton
Jim White has insisted that Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa is the worst possible opponent for Frank Lampard and Everton.
The Toffees welcome the Yorkshire club to Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon, looking to bounce back from the defeat at Newcastle.
White was discussing Everton after Simon Jordan had taken aim at their performance in the North East, dragging them closer to relegation.

Speaking live on talkSPORT’s White and Jordan on Friday morning (11 February), White shared his fears ahead of the weekend.
“To be honest, from Frank’s point of view, this is the worst opponent he could be meeting in Bielsa,” he said.

Worst possible?
This is a bold claim for White to make, but there is big history here.
Lampard and Bielsa go back years after Leeds were found guilty of sending a “spy” to Derby’s training ground during their time in the Championship together.
That question continues to be asked, despite this being Lampard’s third club while Bielsa has been in charge at Elland Road.
Everton are a completely different entity and that has nothing to do with this game, well, that is what Lampard has to be telling himself.
We are desperate for a response, and Goodison Park will be rocking to help that happen tomorrow afternoon in Lampard’s first home league game in charge.
Everyone knows what they will get from Leeds, but hopefully, this new look Toffees side will spring a surprise and put in one of their best performances of the season – bring it on.
