Frank Lampard drools over Everton midfielder Donny van de Beek
Frank Lampard has showered heaps of praise on Everton midfielder Donny van de Beek.
The 24-year-old joined in the January transfer window on the deadline day on loan from Manchester United.
The Dutchman made his first Premier League start of the season against Leeds United in the previous game, and he was simply imperious.

Lampard said to Everton Tv: “Donny on the ball gives us a sense of calm and intelligence and rhythm – and he is going to get better and better.
“He has been a dream to work with in the short time he’s been here.”
Outstanding
Rio Ferdinand said recently that insiders at the club told him that Van de Beek has lifted everyone in the training.
More than anything else, that’s what is really pleasing to hear.
The former Ajax midfielder is a quality player, but he was hardly used by the Red Devils.
He desperately needed games, and Lampard did the best thing by bringing him to Goodison Park, albeit on a temporary deal.
The Dutchman had 53 touches during the game, and played out 40 passes, according to Whoscored.

He also produced one key pass, and helped with massive defensive shifts. He made four tackles and one interception.
Lampard spoke about his technical abilities and what he brings in midfield. The team will get even better when Abdoulaye Doucoure will return to the side.
Everton will face Southampton in their next Premier League game away from home, and they must look to maintain the momentum by picking up another three points.
In other Everton news, one Toffee has received strong backing from talkSPORT hosts for avoiding a pub brawl that broke out after he was taunted.
