Everton have to get rid of Cenk Tosun amid European interest
Even though Everton have started playing two strikers under Frank Lampard, Turkish international Cenk Tosun still has no place at Goodison Park.
The 30-year-old has been fully fit all season but he has only accumulated 13 minutes on the pitch (six against Liverpool, four against Hull and three against Brentford).
What possible use he can offer the Toffees given Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s return from injury and Lewis Dobbin’s progress from the Under-23s side?

Luckily for Lampard and Everton, Besiktas are very keen to bring the Turk back to his homeland and the club’s chairman, Ahmet Nur Çebi, says he would welcome him back to his former club.
“Cenk Tosun is currently a player of another team. It currently would not be right to talk,” Çebi said in an interview with Hurriyet.
“We’ll talk when the contract is up. I told you on the way, if he wants to play in Istanbul, we will embrace him. We want him to come again.”
Music to the ears of all involved in Everton considering how little he has featured for the Toffees this season.

Fanatik journalist Gokmen Ozcan though reported that Tosun rejected a move to Hull City in January and Sabah claimed that he wanted £800,000 in compensation to leave Goodison Park early.
He has been making trouble in the background at Finch Farm which hasn’t helped in Everton’s fight to stay away from a relegation fight.
He needs to be completely axed from the club to end this saga, whether that is by forcing him to train with the academy or simply sacking him on the spot.
This cannot go on much longer because it will cause more problems than it solves.
In other Everton news, Abdoulaye Doucoure could be switching his nationality to play in next month’s World Cup qualifiers for Mali.
