Frank Lampard snubbed Everton fans after Southampton defeat

Frank Lampard did not stop to sign autographs for Everton fans after their 2-0 defeat against Southampton on Saturday.

According to Daily Mirror journalist Phil Brown, Lampard snubbed the waiting Toffees fans outside the St. Mary’s Stadium.

However, Ashley Cole did that before leaving in a separate car from the Everton manager.

Brown wrote on Twitter, “Lampard not in the mood to stop for the autograph hunters outside #SaintsFC. Ashley Cole did for a bit. Both left in separate cars after team coach had already departed.”

Things must change

The performance on Saturday was woeful and Lampard knows he is to be blamed for a part of it.

The team played with no fluidity and looked all over the place from the very first minute.

There were no moments in the game that suggested the Toffees were going to get back in the contest.

Lampard needs to get into the heads of some of these players as their performances were woeful, to say the least.

The front four are playing with no fluidity whatsoever and he needs a change in system to get wins on the board.

Maybe a switch to his tried and tested 4-2-3-1 would be beneficial for everyone and that could even get Dele Alli into the playing eleven.
