James Rodriguez once again talks up Everton return

James Rodriguez has once again talked up the possibility of returning to Everton.

The Colombia international and two-time Champions League winner, left the club unceremoniously in the summer after failing to see eye to eye with Rafa Benitez.

However, with the Spaniard now gone, he claims that he no longer has a problem with anyone at the club.

“It would be a possibility,” he said on Twitch.

“If they want to, I would be open to that. I didn’t have any problems with anyone there.”

He has placed the ball in Everton’s court by claiming that he would return to the club if they want him back.

No thank you

Rodriguez wants to use Everton as a retirement home and the club must not consider his return.

He will not be the player he was when he first joined and would demand astronomical wages.

The Toffees have plenty of players they could rope in who’ll be upgrades on the Colombian.

The bridge with James has been crossed and fans are unlikely to want him back at the club.

When the going got tough, he did not fight for his spot in the team and did everything he could to push for an exit after Carlo Ancelotti left.

There are many other ex players that the fans would rather want back over Rodriguez.
