Super Computer makes Everton relegation prediction after Manchester City defeat
Everton are predicted to narrowly avoid the drop zone despite their 1-0 defeat against Manchester City on Saturday in the Premier League.
The Toffees came within minutes of securing a draw against the league leaders on Saturday (February 26).
However, Phil Foden’s late goal meant that Pep Guardiola’s men secured maximum points on the evening.
According to FiveThirtyEight’s Super Computer, the Toffees will narrowly avoid the relegation zone.
They will finish in 16th place, ahead of Brentford who will also be saved from the drop zone.

Leeds United suffered a big defeat against Tottenham Hotspur which has put them right into the relegation zone.
Newcastle themselves have invested so much money and have gone on a decent run of results so they appear to be safe, as things stand.
No Toffees fan would ask for a top-half finish as that seems unassailable given their current predicament.
What they would want is Premier League safety and the assurance that the team will be strengthened in the summer.
Frank Lampard has proven that he can get the best out of youngsters and should be given the chance at Goodison Park.
Whether or not it works out, remains to be seen, but at least, he should not be given an unfair hand like Rafa Benitez was.
