Paul Brown destroys ITV after major incident during Everton v Boreham Wood

ITV have been destroyed for their “Scandalous” coverage of the Everton clash against Boreham Wood this evening.

Daily Star journalist Paul Brown noticed that ITV decided to go to their adverts during both sets of players sent their wishes to Ukraine.

Standing with a banner, Vitalii Mykolenko was at the heart of it as he captained the side – not that ITV shared that.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Brown absolutely destroyed the coverage of the clash this evening.

“Absolutely scandalous that ITV cut away from such emotional scenes at Goodison to go to adverts,” he wrote.

Shocking.

With everything going on right now in the world, all ITV cared about was getting their adverts on before the game started.

This was about more than football, with parts of the world in crisis at this moment in time, and it is close to home at Goodison Park.

Mykolenko captained the side and highlighted amazing coverage to come out and stand tall this evening in Merseyside.

It would have been easy for him to take the time out, but instead, he was out there pushing his side forward at every given opportunity.

His bravery is amazing, as were the scenes before kick-off this evening, it’s just a shame that ITV didn’t feel the same.

Questions need to be answered.
