Ian Wright: Jordan Pickford does not trust his Everton defenders
Ian Wright believes that Jordan Pickford and the rest of his Everton teammates do not trust each other to do their jobs.
In the aftermath of the Spurs 5-0 defeat, Wright slammed the Toffees players for not being able to count on each other.
He believes that Pickford cannot trust his defenders and neither can they trust him, which has led to them shipping goals for fun.

Speaking on the Wrighty’s House Podcast, he said, “You’ve got defenders who are afraid that if there’s a shot he’s going to let it in.
“You’ve got him who’s afraid of defenders because he doesn’t think they’re good enough.
“You’ve got the front men looking back saying, ‘What am I doing, man?’
“Everybody in that team is looking at each other.”
Spot on
It is really hard to disagree with Wrighty here.
There is no cohesive plan for this Everton side and players seem to be doing whatever they want.
The expectation after Frank Lampard arrived was that things would change for the better.

However, there does not seem to be a significant improvement anywhere and if anything, the team appears to have regressed.
Hopefully, he turns things around quickly because there is a very good chance that the Toffees can get relegated if they keep playing like this.
In other Everton news, a Sky Sports pundit has labelled a Toffees player ‘Terrible’ and ‘Awful’ after what he did in the 5-0 defeat against Spurs.
