Alan Myers: Everton close to signing new deal for Bramley Moore Dock Stadium steel
Alan Myers has shared that Everton are “very close” to signing a new deal to secure steel for the Bramley Moore Dock stadium development.
The Sky Sports journalist has insisted that the deal will secure a fixed price in an ever-changing market.
Uncertainty has been rising around the new stadium in recent weeks, with the Toffees cutting ties with Alisher Usmanov.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Myers shared the major update with a deal close to being done.
“Everton are very close to signing a deal which secures a fixed price for the steel for their stadium at Bramley Moore Dock, the move will provide surety in an ever-changing marketplace,” he wrote.
Huge.
Given the ever-changing market and developments due to the crisis in Ukraine, this looks to be a very good deal for Everton.
Everything has been thrown into the air after cutting ties with Usmanov, with significant financial backing being lost.
It was the right decision to make, though, and thankfully, it looks as though none of it has affected the new stadium development.
Myers’ update shows an agreement is close for a fixed price for steel, meaning we can expect to see more movement soon.
The Dock appears to be going through big changes each time we see it, and hopefully, this is another step towards that huge move.
Everton fans need some motivation and good news right now, and although this doesn’t change things on the pitch, things may be starting to look up off it.
