Don Hutchison: Everton look like relegation side after ‘horrendous’ defeat v Wolves
Don Hutchison believes that his former team Everton are looking like nailed on relegation candidates, as things stand.
The Toffees suffered yet another defeat in the Premier League when they were on the wrong side of a 1-0 result against Wolves on Sunday.
They’re now in a serious battle to avoid the drop and Frank Lampard has just overseen one win in his Everton tenure.

Speaking on the Premier League Weekend Review, Hutchison, a former Toffees captain, said, “I’m looking at a group of players good on paper. But there is a lack of leadership from Lampard, a lack of men in the dressing room.
“When they go behind, they melt, they wilt. They’re going down as it stands. Horrendous form from Everton.”
Games in hand
The only thing Everton have going for them now are their games in hand.
While they do not count for too much, it’s something that Frank Lampard can point to in order to get the best out of his players.
Tactically too, he’s not doing enough and the players are not looking like they’re quite sure of what they’re not supposed to do.

Hopefully, they can register a win against Newcastle at home as that could get the dressing room buzzing.
The likes of Seamus Coleman and Michael Keane may do well with some time on the sidelines and hopefully, Lampard makes the big calls to drop them.
In other Everton news, Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick has apologised to Everton with regard to his comments about them due to what’s been going on at Chelsea.
