Ray Parlour backs Everton to survive despite defeat v Wolves
Ray Parlour believes Everton will still beat the drop despite another defeat against Wolves in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The Blues suffered a 1-0 defeat at Goodison Park to sink them further into relegation trouble, with the side now only out of the relegation zone on goal difference.
But Parlour, speaking on the talkSPORT breakfast show [March 14, 6:41am], said he still expects the team to pick up results along the way in order to survive.

“I still think Everton will be alright,” he said.
“The first half, they had a few chances Everton. Calvert-Lewin didn’t play. Of course the fans will be a little bit worried about the situation they’re in, but I still think they’re going to get a couple of results here and there that will keep them up.”
How?
Parlour might be a closet Everton fan at this point, because how he can see this team picking up results right now is beyond any Toffees fan.
The team look bereft of ideas, poor defensively, are lacking discipline and are struggling to create chances and score goals now too.

Frank Lampard initially started his tenure well with some positive performances, but all that good will has quickly drained away after overseeing a run of just one league win in six games since taking over.
The Blues have sunk deeper and deeper into relegation trouble since he took over and with his lack of experience for this sort of battle, there are genuine concerns about whether he has the ability to get them out of this situation.
With games against all of Newcastle, West Ham, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea in their next six games, the Toffees are in serious, serious trouble.
