Michael Ball frustrated with Lampard and Holgate after Everton loss
Michael Ball was unhappy with the way Michael Holgate and Frank Lampard defended the Everton performance after the Wolves loss.
The Toffees have won just one game in charge since Lampard took over and that has been a major cause of concern.
Ball believes that the 40,000 people at Goodison Park were not thrilled by the team’s commitment to the cause.

He told the Daily Echo, “Unfortunately for Everton supporters when the going gets tough these players let them down and that is exactly what they did on Sunday.
“That was the most frustrating part for me. The effort on the pitch and then the comments by Frank Lampard and Mason Holgate post-match.
“Holgate saying he thought the effort and commitment was there. If he thinks that is effort and commitment, then 40,000 Everton supporters would most definitely beg to differ.”
Shocking
There should’ve been no defence for that kind of performance.
The Toffees were abject, clueless and second best in all aspects.
Wolves, a team that’s relatively new to the Premier League gave the hosts a footballing lesson in their own backyard.

Lampard likes to play a certain style of football but sometimes he’s got to adapt to the players he’s got at his disposal.
Constantly picking players based on their reputation and not their form is only going to lead to his downfall and possibly, Everton’s relegation.
Things need to start changing sooner rather than later for this Toffees team.
In other Everton news, Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick has apologised to Everton with regard to his comments about them due to what’s been going on at Chelsea.
