Nottingham Forest will not open talks with Everton target Joe Worrall
Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper has confirmed that there will be no talks over a new deal for Everton target Joe Worrall.
Cooper believes that players on longer-term contracts at the club are not in line for negotiations.
According to Claret and Hugh, West Ham are believed to be the favourites ahead of the Toffees to secure the 24-year-old centre-back’s services this summer.

Speaking about new deals, Cooper told Nottinghamshire Live, “There are other boys on longer-term contracts as well, who are not up for discussion at the moment because they are only a year or so into them – Joe Worrall and Scott McKenna etc.”
Sign him
Everton desperately need to sign a defender in the summer, maybe even two, depending on which players leave.
Michael Keane looks like he needs replacing as his performances in defence have been appalling, to say the least.
Yerry Mina is someone who’s had terrible injury issues all season and may well be on his way out in the summer.

Signing Worrall, a 24-year-old defender may be the perfect solution for Frank Lampard.
He could look to make Worrall and Ben Godfrey his preferred centre-back pairing for the foreseeable future.
Hopefully, the Toffees do everything they can to ensure that they get to signing the centre-back ahead of West Ham.
