Richarlison ‘dead cert’ to quit Everton in summer amid latest speculation
By Jake Tomkinson
Transfer insider Dean Jones believes Richarlison’s Everton career is definitely coming to an end this summer amid links to Manchester United.
Richarlison has had a fantastic career at Everton, after the Toffees signed the Brazilian from Watford in 2018, for an initial £35million fee, rising to £50million.
The 24-year-old has scored 37 league goals for the Toffees in 124 appearances, including four this season.

This isn’t the first time Richarlison has been linked with a move away from the Merseyside club, with links in 2020 suggesting he could have been on his way to Spanish giants Barcelona.
Reportedly, Manchester United’s head of transfers Matt Judge has held talks with Richarlison’s representatives [Caught Offside, 7 March] as the club looks to bring in more re-enforcements.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Jones, who’s worked for Bleacher Report and Eurosport, said: “I think Richarlison is almost a dead cert to be gone next season.”
Is it time?
If the club go down this season keeping hold of Richarlison becomes an impossible task, and even if survival is secured it won’t be easy to keep hold of an in-demand player.
This could be a good time for the club to move on from some of the current guard, and allow fresh faces to come in to change the club’s current fortunes.

Richarlison has struggled for goals all season, and with a couple of years left on his contract, it may well be time to cash in before his price begins to fall.
However, the sale of Richarlison would only make sense for the club if a worthy replacement is found, with little depth in the forward role bar Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
This summer could see a lot of change within the playing squad at the club, and Richarlison’s name will be on the lips of lots of top clubs.
