Alan Shearer destroys Richarlison antics in Everton clash v Newcastle

Alan Shearer destroyed Richarlison for his play-acting in the huge Everton win against Newcastle last night (17 March).

The Brazilian was in the wars against the likes of Dan Burn and was more than up for the challenge in the 1-0 win.

Shearer was not impressed with the amount of time he spent on the floor, though, insisting that he had to stop it.

Speaking live during Amazon Prime coverage of the clash, Shearer was far from impressed from the South American.

“Stop it, goodness me,” he said.

“He’s got to do better, one v one, he’s got to do more for his team in that situation.”

Tears.

Shearer simply couldn’t handle the fact that his beloved Newcastle could come and get a win, one which he likely thought would have been easy.

Even with Allan sent off, the Toffees bounced off the canvas and smashed home the winner through Alex Iwobi in nearly the 100th minute.

It is the hard work of Richarlison who sets up big finishes such as this, though, with the usually tough Burn and Fabian Schar leaving the pitch exhausted after their battle.

Richarlison is doing everything asked of him by Frank Lampard at this moment in time, and he can’t do any more, apart from getting his deserved goal sooner rather than later.

The South American won’t be losing any sleep over these comments, and the three points are all that matters, what a night.
