Richarlison needs to step up for Everton after the international break
Richarlison needs to step for Everton as the Toffees battle for survival in the Premier League this season.
The 24-year-old is a talisman figure at the club and he is one of the first names on the team sheet.
One of the big problems Frank Lampard is facing at the moment is that his key players are under-performing, and that includes Richarlison as well.

While the bedraggled defence has been all over the place, the problems in the forward department are equally huge.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has struggled with injuries and form. Richarlison, who has scored four goals and provided three assists in the Premier League, is equally struggling.
According to a report from the Liverpool Echo, the Brazilian requested Lampard to play him as a striker, a position he enjoys.
He plays as a striker for the Brazilian national team, and wanted a similar role rather than playing in the wide left-wing areas.
However, since the 4-1 win against Brentford, Richarlison hasn’t found the net. In fact, he has failed to score in nine games for the club, and it’s a worrying sign for Lampard.

Obviously, Richarlison is a player blessed with talent, and Leon Osman has recently hailed him on SuperSport as “excellent” for his performance against Wolves.
One could argue that Richarlison hasn’t been getting enough support from his fellow teammates, but that is far from the truth.
He got chances to score but the Brazilian lacked clinical touch. At times, he wasted good passes, after failing to beat the offside trap.
Richarlison is a gifted player, and he must raise his level after the international break.
