Everton have to get Bramley-Moore Dock stadium right amid Euro 2028 update
Everton might have to pull out all the stops with their new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium as updates suggest Euro 2028 could be heading to UK shores.
According to talkSPORT, the United Kingdom and Ireland look set to host Euro 2028 as no rival bids have come into UEFA as of yet.
If it were to happen this summer, Everton would not be considered as a potential host venue given the size of Goodison Park compared to other stadiums elsewhere in the UK and Ireland.

But their new ground might be enough to see them host some games of the tournament despite the still fierce competition.
Just in the North West, Anfield, Old Trafford and the Etihad Stadium would all likely be selected and UEFA will be keen not to have too many stadiums in one place where possible.
You then have to take into account grounds like the Principality Stadium (Cardiff), Hampden Park (Glasgow), Aviva Stadium (Dublin) and Windsor Park (Belfast) to comply with the joint bid.
That doesn’t even include other English grounds such as Wembley, which would be an obvious choice, London Stadium, Emirates, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, St James’ Park, Villa Park and Elland Road which all have good chances of hosting games.

It might be six years away but such forward planning is needed for this magnitude of tournament and Everton have to decide whether they want to be in that contest just yet.
They probably should at least aim to be in the conversation if they want to show any kind of ambition to their fans even if their bid to host games turns out to be unsuccessful.
They might be up against it now but a brand-new stadium may just tempt UEFA into giving them a go and that could be the spark the football club needs.
