BBC pundit Leanne Crichton stunned by what Everton ace Nathan Patterson did for Scotland v Poland
Everton talent Nathan Patterson finally got his chance for a start on Thursday evening, but it was for Scotland against Poland.
The young right-back has been starved of football at Goodison Park, and he was everywhere in the opening minutes at Hampden Park.
BBC pundit Leanne Crichton was left stunned by one “Excellent” attacking piece of play down the right which ended in a saved shot.

Speaking live during BBC coverage of Scotland’s game, Crichton was stunned by what she saw Patterson do.
“Excellent,” she said. “He picks up the ball inside the attacking half.
“He is so composed, so direct, carries the ball with so much pace. He just can’t get his foot around the shot, drags it, and it’s into the goalkeeper’s hands. But that is what Nathan Patterson gives you.”

Watching?
Frank Lampard will surely have been watching and why wouldn’t he have been left impressed with what he saw?
Patterson will be crying out for some game time in the Premier League, and it is getting to the stage where it simply has to be handed to him.
The young right-back has been watching Jonjoe Kenny and Seamus Coleman playing every week, and neither has really set the world alight in this dreadful run of form.
It is only a matter of time where changes will need to be made to this side or we could go down to the Championship with a whimper.
Watching Patterson this evening, his positivity in each third could be exactly the spark we need at this moment in time.
Make it happen.
