Paul Parker destroys Everton ace Richarlison amid Manchester United link

Former Manchester United player Paul Parker has absolutely destroyed Everton forward Richarlison, warning the Red Devils not to sign the 27-year-old.

United were interested in bringing in the bringing Brazil international to Old Trafford in the summer in an attempt to end their five-year trophy doubt, as per Goal.

However, Parker has urged his former club to stay away from the “ not trustworthy” Toffees man, emptying both barrels on him.

“I don’t know who United will get as a manager, but Richarlison for me doesn’t really fit,” he told OddsNinja.

“If you have a manager who can discipline him because I think he lacks discipline. He’s not trustworthy.

“Wants to fall down all the time. Gets too emotional and gets involved in personal battles against people on the pitch. I would say no. I can’t really think of something positive.

“You can see him scoring goals now and again, but I’m going to say no at this moment. He doesn’t really fit into what United would be looking for at this moment.

“It would be interesting to see what Everton fans think about him. Are they one hundred percent behind him? I think they are no different to me and everyone else.

“They will say he’s very inconsistent. When he scores or when he’s ready for Everton, it’s fine, but you don’t know what you are getting.”

Nonsense

Parker most likely wouldn’t want to hear what the Everton fans think after that embarrassingly way off the mark assessment of their forward.

He is certainly a controversial player, but that is why the fans love him. He wears his heart on his sleeve and will do anything to win once he puts on that blue shirt.

Everton

Parker thinks Richarlison lack discipline but every single team needs a player like that and for the Toffees it is him.

He will back his players, do anything to win free kicks and do whatever it takes to give Everton the advantage which is why he is a solid fan favourite.

You can certainly understand why a rival fan wouldn’t like Richarlison and in turn, wouldn’t want him playing for their club but he is an incredibly loyal player who hits the nail on the head all the time both on and off the pitch.

If United don’t sign the Brazillian in the summer then that is brilliant news, he can continue to be loved and adored at Goodison Park whilst hopefully leading the team to more success than what they have seen in recent years.
