View: Everton shambolic state proven by horrid Carlo Ancelotti report

The latest reports outlining the details of Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton exit show just how terrible of a state the club are in.

The Italian walked away from a three-year deal worth £29million at Goodison Park to leave the club after just 18-months at the realm, according to AS journalist Joaquin Maroto

Ancelotti left Merseyside to join Spanish giants Real Madrid for “half the money” he was being paid by the Toffees.

The former Chelsea boss came to transform the club, but he seemingly looked around at the mess that Everton was in and made the decision to jump off the sinking ship and you can hardly blame him.

Yet again, this just shows you can throw as much money at a player, manager or project as you want, if that person isn’t completely on board, you are wasting your time.

Farhad Moshiri has surely learned from his mistakes now after splashing lucrative sums of money for the best part of a decade with absolutely no success at all.

He has wasted so much money on players and sacking managers it is a joke.

Everton could have won the league multiple times by now had that money been invested properly rather than the club being treated like a Football Manager experiment.

The Blues seem to have taken a few steps forward under new manager Frank Lampard but this is all too familiar for the supporters to get their hopes up.

Time and time again has Moshiri sacked a manager after a short tenure in charge, having changed the teams’ identity and brought in their own players.

He cannot afford to do this under Lampard because that will be the final straw. Just let him do his job and trust the process.
