Everton need Richarlison to recreate Brazil form at Goodison to stay up

Everton are not where they were expecting nor hoping to be in the Premier League table right now and they need someone to stand up and be counted.

Sitting precariously three points above the drop zone is doing nothing to encourage supporters that things are looking like being turned around anytime soon.

A lack of goals is one problem they are facing but if one Toffees star can recreate what he’s been doing for his national team, then maybe they’ll be okay.

Richarlison has been one of the star performers in South American World Cup qualifying as he has helped Brazil to finish top of the group despite having one final game against Argentina still to play.

The 24-year-old has scored six times throughout the qualification process which might not sound like a huge amount but it’s his shot percentages that are something to behold.

As reported by Footstats I2A on Twitter, the Everton forward has managed to score six times from just 14 shots in total having not been selected for every game in qualification.

10 shots on target makes his shot conversion rate a staggering 71% which is something Frank Lampard needs him to replicate when he returns to Merseyside.

This Sunday’s game away at Europe-chasing West Ham would be a fantastic time for the Brazilian to start hitting the same form in blue as he has done in yellow having also scored twice in a 4-0 win against Bolivia overnight.

Everton’s entire relegation hopes may have to be pinned on Richarlison with Dominic Calvert-Lewin struggling for form and injuries so now is his chance to show what he is made of.

In other Everton news, this one thing might save the Toffees from continuing on this slippery slope downhill.
