Richarlison ‘being pushed’ from Everton to Arsenal, insider claims
Everton star Richarlison has emerged as a transfer target for fellow Premier League side Arsenal according to transfer insider Dean Jones, via Give Me Sport.
The 24-year-old, who signed for the Toffees from Watford for £50m in 2018, has underperformed this season by his own high standards but he is still garnering interest from a number of clubs.
Arsenal seem keen to give him a chance at a higher level than he can get at Goodison Park and his impressive goalscoring record for the Blues suggests he deserves that chance.

Jones believes he knows that the Brazilian is being nudged in the direction of the Gunners and that it is a deal that has the potential to be completed in the transfer window.
“I know that Richarlison is one player being pushed in their direction at the moment and I know that is one that has probably got legs,” Jones said.
Needs to play higher
Richarlison is almost too good for Everton now considering where the club sits in the Premier League.
As a star player for Brazil, he should not be consigned to fighting a relegation battle wherever he is.

He needs to be playing in Europe consistently and that just isn’t something you can see Everton achieving any time soon.
If the Toffees could get a similar fee to what they paid for him back n 2018, then it represents a good deal for the club given the goals he has scored in blue during his time on Merseyside.
It will have a negative effect on the team at first, just like any big sale will, but for him, a transfer away from Goodison Park is probably necessary if he wants to become a real star like we all know he can.
