Aaron Cresswell delivers verdict on Everton and Frank Lampard
Aaron Cresswell has said that Everton are a “massive” club ahead of West Ham’s Premier League game against the Toffees on Sunday.
The left-back was also full of praise for Frank Lampard, hailing him as a “world-class” player.
The Toffees are currently struggling badly in the Premier League, and are fighting for survival this season.

“I remember both Everton and Liverpool both being massive clubs when I was young,” said Cresswell, as quoted by whufc.
“Of course, Liverpool have been winning a lot of trophies in the last few years and Everton are in a difficult run at the minute and finding it a little hard. But they’re still a massive club.
“Frank Lampard was a world-class player, in my eyes. He was at Chelsea for all those years and he would score 20 goals a season from midfield, which was frighteningly good.
“He’s still very early on in his own managerial career. He did really well at Derby and was a bit unfortunate at Chelsea. He brought a lot of young players through in their team and I thought he did a decent job there. He’s gone into a hard situation at Everton but he’s shown he is a good manager.”
Away form
It seems the Toffees have forgotten how to win games away from home.
They have picked up only one in the entire campaign so far away from Goodison Park, and the record needs to change quickly.
West Ham are a strong side at home and they are aiming for a top-six finish.
The jury is still out on Lampard whose overall record away from home in any of the clubs he has managed hasn’t been spectacular.

As a player, Lampard was one of the best midfielders during his time, but he will be judged now on his managerial credentials.
So far, there’s little evidence that the club is making real progress under him.
A draw against West Ham won’t be a bad result. The problem is the Toffees are lacking belief in themselves and once they concede they find it really difficult to get back into the game.
