Frank Lampard gushes over ‘dream’ Everton winger Anthony Gordon
Frank Lampard has claimed that Everton starlet Anthony Gordon is a “dream to work with” as he continues to make waves for club and country.
The 21-year-old has been a stalwart in the Blues’ team ever since the former Chelsea boss took over from Rafa Benitez.
Lampard has been very outspoken about the Scousers’ talent since arriving on Merseyside, most recently praising the winger’s attitude.
He told Everton: “Anthony’s started every game for me, I enjoy working with him. He’s a pleasure to work with for his attitude and quality.
“Players like that with his application improve quickly because they understand what they need to improve on and want to improve on. He’s a dream to work with on that level.
“It is an area of the pitch where we do have competition, but Anthony’s really stood up and continues to do so. Very excited to be working with him all the time.”
Future star
It sounds crazy to say this about a 21-year-old who has only really just burst onto the scene for the first team but where would Everton be without him this season?
He has been the best player by a country mile ever since Lampard arrived, hence why the boss has backed him in every single game.

Often a young player can become somewhat arrogant when they establish themselves in the first team, but his local roots seem to have kept him grounded.
The forward continuously hits the nail on the head when speaking to the media and comes across really well making him even more likeable than his impressive displays already do.
Gordon is like an old-school player, never shirking a tackle and always wears his heart on his sleeve which has made him a fan favourite already at Goodison Park.
Hopefully, the Toffees can keep hold of him because he looks to be a generational talent.
