Don Hutchison predicts outcome ahead of Burnley v Everton
Everton lost 2-1 against West Ham on Sunday (03 April) in the Premier League and they are in a dire situation at the moment.
The Toffees will face Burnley in their next game on Wednesday (06 April) at Turf Moor, and Don Hutchison fancies Frank Lampard’s side to win this must-win game.
The Clarets are 19th in the Premier League table but they have a chance to close the gap with Everton with a win in midweek.

Hutchison wrote on Twitter: “Everton are having a stinker of a season no doubt.
“Travelling fans (were) amazing again today. Played well for first 30 minutes until going behind.
“I’ve seen enough in that half an hour that tells me they can beat Burnley (in) midweek. That’s all that matters now Burnley. NSNO (Nil Satis Nisi Optimum).”
Errors
It’s a must-win game for the Toffees.
Everton started the game brightly against the Hammers and could have got a goal as well had they been clinical.
Despite going a goal down at the break, the Toffees fought back to level the tie. However, it’s the same old syndrome that resurfaced and hit them hard once again.
The players keep making individual errors with sloppy passes and poor decision making, and it has hurt the team badly. And once Michael Keane was sent off, the task became really difficult.

Having said that, Everton showed no real attempt to salvage a point after the second goal, while some of Frank Lampard’s tactics are questionable.
Another important factor to consider is the injuries to several players. Donny van Beek got injured prior to the game while the likes of Nathan Patterson and Andre Gomes also missed through injuries.
Lampard’s record away from home has been miserable but they should be able to pick up crucial three points against Burnley.
