Injured news: Everton duo Fabian Delph and Seamus Coleman could return v Burnley

Everton could be set for an injury boost ahead of their huge Premier League showdown against Burnley.

That’s according to Liverpool World, who share that Fabian Delph and Seamus Coleman could be back in the mix at Turf Moor.

It is still unknown whether or not the likes of Donny Van de Beek and Andre Gomes will be available after being late dropouts against West Ham.

Coleman was said to have been ill over the weakened, and there has been no confirmation whether it was COVID-19.

The Irishman is likely to be missing again at Burnley if that was the case, but surely that would have been released.

Delph has been nursing an injury for some time, and his experience as well as his ability to get stuck in could be critical here.

Frank Lampard has already admitted it will be a big boost to have him available around the squad for the rest of the season.

Any boost we can get.

At this moment in time, we simply welcome any positive news coming out of Goodison Park and Finch Farm.

One thing Coleman and Delph can guarantee is experience within the group, which will be vital in this game.

If fit, both could easily start.

Coleman is the captain of the club and with Michael Keane suspended, options at the back are limited for Lampard.

Delph has been decent in midfield when given the chance, and with doubts surrounding Donny Van de Beek, he could get a start.

It will be interesting to see what happens, we simply cannot afford to lose this one on Wednesday.
