Simon Jordan: Everton relegation would be catastrophic for Frank Lampard
Simon Jordan has insisted that Everton being relegated from the Premier League would be catastrophic for Frank Lampard.
The talkSPORT co-host admitted that the boss will need to be desperate to survive as it is the last thing everyone needs at Goodison Park.
Jordan did admit that he believes Everton will stay up in the end, despite the dreadful run of fixtures ahead.
Speaking on talkSPORT’s White and Jordan this week [30 March 12:25 pm], the co-host picked out the one person this could affect most.
“It’s catastrophic for Frank Lampard,” he said. “It’s an absolute holix for him because the last thing he needs is to go into Everton and compound all the issues people have about his management career.
“They won’t get relegated, they will stay up.”
Never mind just Lampard, it would be a disaster for every last person who is associated with the club right now.
Lampard would be ridiculed, the players should hang their heads in embarrassment and shame, and don’t even get us started on the board.
Farhad Moshiri could hide behind the fact that he has kept the Toffees afloat and pumped hundreds of millions in, but it’s what he has done with that cash.
Bill Kenwright has also sat back and watched all of this happen despite his power in charge from the stands with Moshiri.
With our accounts simply in dire straits for yet another year, dropping into the Championship could see everything collapse.
This is the last thing everyone needs, never mind just Lampard.
