Memphis Depay would be superb signing for Everton
Everton must look to sign Memphis Depay in the summer, should they avoid relegation.
According to Spanish media outlet Super Deporte, the Toffees have initiated contact by making an enquiry for the Barcelona forward.
Depay, who joined the Catalan giants on a free transfer from Lyon, has dropped down the pecking order under Xavi.

The 28-year-old could be tempted to return to the Premier League, and the Toffees must not miss out on the target.
New hero at Goodison?
A massive rebuilding project needs to be taken in the summer, and Depay would be a brilliant signing.
People can point out his struggle for Manchester United in the past, but that is hardly a yardstick to judge a player.
Even quality players like Angel di Maria, Radamel Falcao and a host of other big names have struggled at Old Trafford.
Depay was a sensation at Eindhoven and he was superb at Lyon. Last year, in September he scored an “incredible” [Sky Sports] goal from the halfway line for Lyon in their 4-0 win over Toulouse.

He is a natural winger who can also play as an attacking midfielder behind the striker. The Dutchman is known for his dazzling skills with a keen eye for goal.
At Barcelona, he has scored 10 goals already, but the new manager comes in with new ideas, and some players get frozen out. That has been the case with Depay.
He has scored 143 career goals, and has got a wealth of experience playing at the top level. Depay certainly fits the bill at Merseyside.
