Everton boss Frank Lampard called unprofessional and ‘a bloody fool’ by talkSPORT’s Simon Jordan
Everton boss Frank Lampard is “a bloody fool” who should have known what he was in for at the club according to Simon Jordan.
The former Crystal Palace chairman tore into the Toffees manager as part of a searing take down where he accused the former Chelsea boss of making the team worse.
Ex-England star Lampard has won twice in the league since his January arrival and has the side hovering three points above the relegation zone in 17th place.

After Trevor Sinclair tried to offer some defence on talkSPORT this afternoon (6 April, 12.10pm) host Jim White asked: “Why bother feeling for Frank? Frank’s a big boy. He knew what he was getting into.”
Sinclair responded: “Well I don’t think he did. I don’t think he knew how poor certain players were.”
At that point Jordan launched his attack, saying: “Well then he’s a bloody fool then isn’t he?
“Frank Lampard has gone in there and done precisely nothing.
“He’s turned a team that were fighting against teams like Chelsea into a team that capitulated diabolically against Tottenham, were a disgrace against Crystal Palace.
“That comes from the manager.
“These players aren’t hanging onto anything that Frank is saying.
“You wanted this job, and if you didn’t know what you were walking into, you should have done your due diligence and been a professional.”
White then concurred: “That does sound harsh but to me Simon’s on the money with that.
“He knew what he was getting into.”
Say how you really feel
There’s no denying things aren’t going well at Goodison Park right now for the former Chelsea man.
But the criticism hasn’t come stronger than it did from Jordan today.
Most people assumed that much of the disfunction at the club under previous boss Rafael Benitez was due to the Spaniard.

But it is becoming increasingly clear that he was just one of many problems.
Lampard was swept into the job on a wave of positivity from fans thanks to him being neither his predecessor or Vitor Pereira.
But if a report in the Daily Mail is accurate, players are starting to question him already and there are signs of the same mistakes that brought his Chelsea reign to an end resurfacing.
Whether that is reason enough to draw the level of ire that he has during today’s talkSPORT discussion is open to debate.
But it certainly seems like mistakes have been made during his tenure so far.
