Everton midfielder Donny van de Beek ruled out v Burnley
Frank Lampard has confirmed that Donny van de Beek will miss the crucial Burnley versus Everton clash on Wednesday at Turf Moor.
The Dutchman was initially in the squad to face West Ham but he picked an injury while warm-up, and couldn’t even make the bench.
Lampard has confirmed that he has picked up a “small grade” injury, and will return for the clash against Leicester City (20 April).

Van de Beek joined the Toffees on loan from Manchester United in January and he is ineligible to face his parent club.
“Donny won’t be fit tomorrow. It’s a small grade thigh injury,” Lampard said, as quoted by Liverpool World.
“He can’t play against Manchester United anyway so he’ll be fit for our next game.”
Blow
It seems the Toffees cannot get rid of injuries at the moment.
With Allan suspended, the last thing Lampard needed was missing Van de Beek for such a crucial game.
The Toffees are already without Yerry Mina, while Nathan Patterson has been ruled out for the rest of the season as well.
Fabian Delph, meanwhile, is back in training, and the veteran midfielder could start the game alongside Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Van de Beek has impressed for the Toffees this season, but his injury has come at a bad time for the club.

Everton are fighting to avoid relegation at the moment, and Lampard needs his key players to pull the club out of this unthinkable situation.
Burnley are in the drop zone, and the game can be seen as a massive relegation six-pointer.
Lampard’s record has been poor away from home, but they should have enough quality to win this game.
