Everton harder to manage than Real Madrid for Carlo Ancelotti – Jamie Carragher
Carlo Ancelotti is certainly living a more relaxing life after leaving Everton for Real Madrid last summer with the Toffees in relegation trouble.
The Italian oversaw his Los Blancos side impressively win away at Chelsea last night thanks to a Karim Benzema hat-trick while Everton were beaten 3-2 by Burnley at Turf Moor.
Jamie Carragher believes that Ancelotti is more suited to managing teams with great players as his coaching methods aren’t at the same level as other managers.

“He’s a manager who suited more than anything to having the top players,” the former Liverpool defender said, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
“Maybe at Everton you’ve got to work more with the players. You haven’t got the great players. You may have to change things, coach more, give them more information.
“I spoke to Frank Lampard and John Terry (who he managed at Chelsea). They love him. Not as a great tactician, they loved him as a guy. every club he’s been at I think he just suits having the big stars.”
Perfect man for the job
Despite his flaws in coaching, Ancelotti might just be the perfect man for the job at hand right now on Merseyside if the owners could choose whoever they wanted.

Tactical coaching isn’t going to get Everton out of this mess anymore so they need someone who can get the players fired up and passionate about the club.
Lampard just isn’t going to do that and he’s proven time and time again that he is incapable of it.
The only reason he has two Premier League wins under his belt so far is because of the unwavering support of the Goodison Park crowd who have roared the Blues onto great things for decades.
The boss could do a lot worse than give his old manager a ring and try to learn some new things from him in a last-ditch attempt to save this season and his career.
In other Everton news, an Ex-FIFA official has blamed Toffees players for breaking one of the game’s laws during the 3-2 defeat last night.
