The young attacker not only scored the winning goal of the game but also shared a moment with a fan in the aftermath of the game.
He gave one of the junior Toffees fans a moment to cherish for the rest of his life by handing him his jersey.
White share footage of this on his personal Twitter account and wrote, “Loving the post-match shirt gift from goalscorer Anthony Gordon to the young Everton fan. Crucial win but @ManUtd a shadow of themselves.
1-0.”
Touch of class
Gordon has been in sensational form this season and this was an absolute moment of class from him.
The young attacker would probably not have expected to play the number of games as he has this season.
Not only has he become a regular, he’s probably been one of the most important and consistent players for the Toffees this season.
When many of the senior players have gone missing, he has been the one to stand up in the face of adversity.
We cannot wait to see just how far he goes as he’s got the potential of being a Goodison Park icon.
Gareth Southgate should start considering him in his squads for the future as he’s clearly got it in him to represent England.
