Dion Dublin names Everton keeper Jordan Pickford in Team of the Week, snubs Spurs ace Lloris
Dion Dublin has named Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford in his Premier League Team of the Week for his performance against Manchester United.
Speaking on Premier League Fanzone, the Sky Sport pundit named the England international in his top eleven.
A Spurs fan quickly called into the show to make a case for Hugo Lloris, but Dublin was having none of it.

He said, “Lloris can go on the bench for me. Pickford had a really good game and he’s not getting out of my team. Maybe you [Spurs fan] can be my assistant.”
Right call
Lloris performed well in a game that his Spurs side expected to win so it wasn’t a surprise.
Under Antonio Conte, they have been extremely organised at the back and the Frenchman has an easier job in goal.
However, at Everton, the defence has been all over the place this season so for Pickford to keep a clean sheet against United, it took some doing.

Hopefully, this performance was not a one off and the club can build on it for the rest of the season.
They cannot take Premier League safety for granted and it’s important they win a few more games sooner rather than later in the business end of the campaign.
