Everton left ‘amazed’ by Fenerbahce defender Kim Min-Jae
Everton are showing keen interest in signing South Korean defender Kim Min-Jae in the summer, according to Fanatik.
The report claims that the Toffees have watched the 25-year-old central defender on Sunday as Fenerbahce won 2-0 against Galatasary.
The Toffees scouts were left “amazed” by his performance. It’s the second time the Toffees have watched him this season, and they are heavily impressed.

Interesting
Kim joined the Turkish club in 2021, for a reported fee of £2.4 million, and has since become the “darling” of his new club.
He has impressed everyone within a short time. During the game against Gala, he made two interceptions, two blocks, and as many as eight clearances.
The 42-times capped South Korean international also made 74 passes and attempted as many as 11 long balls, as per Who Scored.
Obviously, replicating the performance in the Premier League is a different story altogether, but the Toffees scouts must have been impressed with the player’s technical abilities.

Everton do need a defender in the summer, especially if they manage to avoid relegation. The likes of Michael Keane and Mason Holgate have been unconvincing while Yerry Mina has struggled with fitness.
The Colombian is a curious case. He is arguably the best centre-back at the club, but he has hardly played due to a series of injuries.
