Gabby Agbonlahor makes Everton coach Duncan Ferguson admission after Stefan Savic antics v Manchester City

Gabby Agbonlahor believes that Atletico Madrid defender Stefan Savic would not dare to mess with Everton man Duncan Ferguson.

Savic was seen picking fights with Manchester City duo Jack Grealish and Phil Foden in the Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday.

Labelling him a bully, Agbonlahor believes that he would not do it with some of the stronger players of yesteryear.

He said on talkSPORT, “He’s your typical bully, Savic. He picked on Foden, one of the smallest players on the pitch, he had something against Grealish, I don’t know what it was, but he’s a typical bully.

“I don’t think he’d do that if Duncan Ferguson, Emile Heskey, John Carew, Vincent Kompany, if players like that were on the pitch I don’t think Savic does it. He’s a bully and I think he’s a disgrace.”

Spot on

Big Dunc is as tough as they come and he would have none of Savic.

He’s been an absolute beast during his playing career and even on the touchline, few dare mess with him.

Having Ferguson’s personality inside the dressing room is imperative as it certainly lifts the morale of the rest of the players.

Everton

Many youngsters have seen him as an inspiration and we will be surprised if he does not end up managing Everton one day.

He’s been around under so many managers and hasn’t let the experience get to his head, always will to lend a helping hand to whoever has been in charge.

Ferguson is already a Goodison Park legend and the day he leaves to pursue a managerial career of his own, will surely be a sad one as nobody would want to see the back of him.
