Adam Jones shares mood at Everton after what he has seen at Finch Farm
Adam Jones has shared what the mood is like around Finch Farm as Everton prepare to face Leicester City on Wednesday [April 20].
The Blues can extend their gap to seven points on the relegation zone if they win against Brendan Rodgers’ side at Goodison Park.
Jones claimed that Frank Lampard is “getting his wish” as the mood around the club has seemingly taken a big step in the right direction after the Manchester United win.

He said as per Liverpool Echo: “Lampard following the Manchester United game discussed in a little bit of detail on what he wanted to do with his squad over the upcoming small break.
“But a lot of the focus from the manager, while obviously wanting to improve certain important aspects of the play from his side, was on their mood in the camp.
“That win over Ralf Rangnick’s side was absolutely crucial following such a demoralising defeat to Burnley a few days previously, and it was imperative that the mood would be kept high over the course of this small break.
“And the latest set of images from Finch Farm show that Lampard is clearly getting his wish. The players not only are all smiles in many of the pictures, but they are putting across a much more relaxed demeanour.
“That’s reflected in the manager himself as well. A few pictures from the training ground show him sitting on a football in a cool manner and watching his players take part in a drill in front of him.”
Stay focussed.

Everton’s players haven’t deserved to play with a smile on their face all season long and even with their league position being hugely disappointing still – it is nice to see Lampard and the players somewhat enjoy themselves in training.
The win against United was huge. It was the perfect way to get over that disgraceful capitulation against Burnley who now look set to go down following their sacking of Sean Dyche. Maybe that is why the Toffees are in such high spirits.
They can’t afford to get too comfortable though because there is still a lot of football to play and a lot can change.
Quite often you see teams enjoy a big lift when a new manager comes in which is even more reason for the Blues to put even more distance between them and the relegation zone.
Hopefully, Goodison can carry the team to victory once more against the Foxes in midweek.
In other Everton news, the Blues are to axe several senior players in summer for “hungrier” alternatives according to Chris Beesley.
