Everton in good spirits ahead of Premier League clash against Leicester

Adam Jones claims that the mood in Finch Farm is high ahead of the Everton v Leicester Premier League clash on Wednesday [April 19].

The Liverpool Echo journalist was attending the pre-game press conference when he heard cheers outside the room.

The Toffees are in the midst of a relegation battle so any sign of positivity will be taken as a boost ahead of an important game.

Via his personal Twitter account, Jones wrote, “Mood is clearly high at Finch Farm today, someone outside the press conference room has just given a loud “WOOOO-HOOOO” to something.”

Let’s win this

Despite the recent run of form, it’s good to see that the team are in great spirit ahead of the game.

Two more wins should suffice as sides around the Toffees are all dropping points.

However, they cannot afford to lose any more games, certainly not against sides like Leicester.

The Foxes have been erratic all season so they’re not the threat they were last campaign or the year before that.

If Frank Lampard sets his team up in an attacking fashion, three points will certainly be up for grabs.

Hopefully, Everton start this one strongly and put the Foxes on the back foot from minute one.
