Frank Lampard shares what he hates about this Everton team
Frank Lampard has slammed his Everton players insisting he hates the “up and down” results the team have suffered since he joined the club in January.
The Blues fell to a 1-1 draw against Leicester City at Goodison Park last night [April 20], extending their lead to four points on the drop zone.
After beating Champions League pushers Manchester United last time out at home, the former Chelsea boss was disappointed that the Toffees didn’t build on that momentum.

Lampard told Liverpool Echo: “I hate an up and down pattern. Winning a few games on the spin completely changes the picture and the mood around an entire club transforms.
“It is more complicated than just saying we need to back up the United performance, though. The Premier League asks different questions of you in every game and we have to find the answers against Leicester.”
Silver-lining
It wasn’t the result the players and the fans wanted and you could tell that at half-time.
The last-gasp Richarlison winner will go a long way in maintaining the positive feeling around the club but the performance levels dropped massively, yet again, last night.

How can a team go from being very good against a team towards the top end of the table against the Red Devils to so lacklustre against a struggling Foxes side? It is baffling.
Even though it wasn’t the performance or result that the Blues would have wanted, it was a point gained which needs to be focussed on.
Lampard will need to address the very inconsistent form the former England international has suffered during his tenure at the club so far but for now, all attention turns to tonight’s Premier League action.
Burnley host Southampton and hopefully the visitors can sweep their managerless opponents to one side.
In other Everton news, the Blues are to axe several senior players in summer for “hungrier” alternatives according to Chris Beesley.
