Frank Lampard lifts lid on Everton ace Donny van de Beek’s future at club
Frank Lampard has lifted the lid on Donny van de Beek’s Everton future as his loan deal at Goodison Park nears an end.
The Netherlands international will return to his parent club, Manchester United, at the end of the season where he will link up with former manager Erik ten Hag.
Lampard insisted that the midfielder holds all the cards in terms of where he plays his football next season but until then, the Toffees need to get the most out of him.

He told Liverpool Echo: “We worked hard in quick time one or two days before the deadline and we were really pleased to get him.
“Unfortunately, in recent weeks Donny wasn’t so well, then he had an injury then he had a baby – not that that affected us, it’s great news for him – so we just need to get the most we can out of Donny in these next seven games and then, of course, the options are all in his hands.
“He is a Manchester United player at that point.”
Class act.
It would be brilliant if van de Beek stayed at Everton beyond his loan deal at the club and if ten Hag hadn’t been made Manchester United manager, he probably would.

The Blues would undoubtedly be able to persuade the midfield maestro into staying at Goodison Park considering his nightmare of a time with the Red Devils but his former Ajax boss really rates the 25-year-old and he will most likely do really well under him.
It is a shame because not only is he a great player that Lampard could really use as he looks to fix the mess of his squad but he is a class act.
He has established himself as somewhat of a fan favourite with his attitude and the way he has conducted himself during his short spell on Merseyside.
It will be very hard considering the Dutchman’s immense quality but the Blues need to find a replacement just as good – if not better – than the Red Devils’ ace for next season if they want to lift themselves out of this rut.
