Everton confirmed XI v Liverpool: Richarlison starts
Frank Lampard has named his Everton starting eleven as they’re set to take on Liverpool in the Merseyside derby.
With Burnley on course for three points against Wolves, the pressure is on the Toffees to deliver a good result.
Lampard knows that his job could be on the line if he fails to keep his side out of the bottom three.
For the clash against Liverpool, he’s opted to go for Richarlison to lead the line with Alex Iwobi, Anthony Gordon and Demarai Gray around him.
No Rondon?
Rondon’s omission is baffling as he could have been the X-Factor player for this one.
Another key player who’s ruled out is Dominic Calvert-Lewin as he’s not even part of the matchday squad.
Everton have to get something from this game as things are not looking so good for them on the relegation front.
The Clarets are on the verge of three points which means that the Toffees would start the game in the bottom three.
This is not what Lampard or any of the players and fans would have wanted.
It remains to be seen whether they let this affect them going into the game.
