Everton fans set for police punishment after Anfield destruction on Sunday
Everton supporters could be faced with severe punishments for vandalism after a small group decided to wreak havoc in the away end at Anfield.
As the Toffees dropped into the bottom three in the Premier League against their rivals Liverpool in the Merseyside derby, the travelling contingent were causing chaos.
Toilets and televisions were among the things most damaged in the mayhem and both clubs have been liaising with the police over the concerning matter.

“We are investigating an incident of criminal damage which took place inside Anfield Stadium on Sunday 24 April,” a police spokeswoman said, as quoted by the Mirror.
“The toilets and television screens in the concourse area of the stadium were found to have been vandalised after the derby game between Liverpool and Everton.
“We are liaising with Liverpool Football Club to obtain CCTV footage to identify the suspects and bring them to justice.”
Do better
No matter how big the rivalry might be between Everton and Liverpool, it should never get to a point of vandalism and violence at all.

It is, of course, only a small portion of the club’s fantastic fanbase that have disgraced themselves and let’s hope they get their punishment and refrain from doing that again.
In the precarious situation we are in as a football club right now, the absolute last thing we need is the supporters bringing in yet more bad press.
The result wasn’t what any of us were hoping for and the taunting from the home end about our relegation fight won’t have pleased anybody but you have to expect that in a derby.
Chant something back instead though, don’t take out your frustration on the objects in the away end, find a way to deal with your emotions better and maybe that might mean a few less pints in the pub beforehand.
