View: Everton must drop Allan after shockingly bad display v Liverpool
Everton are in the relegation zone for the first time this season having suffered defeat to Liverpool on Sunday afternoon in a controversial game.
Goals from Andy Robertson and Divock Origi gave the red half of Merseyside all the points and bragging rights in a tough season, with the Toffees now clinging on to their Premier League status.
But the performance of one man in particular has been called out on social media and has shone a light on just how poor he was individually, despite a relatively good team performance.

Brazilian midfielder Allan started the game as part of a midfield three alongside Abdoulaye Doucoure and Alex Iwobi, with Frank Lampard hopeful of keeping the game tight and nicking a goal on the counter.
However despite featuring for 73 minutes, Allan completed just two passes in the entire game – with both coming from kick-off to begin the half and after Robertson’s opener.
In fact, during his time on the pitch he only attempted six passes in total with none of the attempts from open play managing to find a teammate.
It goes a long way to showing just how poor he was, and that was a large reason why the Toffees only managed to rack up 18% possession over the course of the 90 minutes.
He was replaced by Dele Alli, who managed to complete 11 of 13 passes in his 17 minutes on the pitch and created a good chance late on.
So now with six huge games remaining in their season and points like gold dust, Lampard surely can’t rely on the former Napoli man any more and he should be bombed out of the side.
As a defensive midfielder Allan was brought into the club with his passing ability from deep positions noted as one of his strongest attributes.
While the way that Lampard set the team up at Anfield won’t have contributed well to the performance, there is no excuse as a central midfielder to not complete a single pass in open play during the game.
With Doucoure, Alli, Fabian Delph, Donny Van de Beek, Andre Gomes and Alex Iwobi as other options to play in midfield, Lampard must look elsewhere and hope to earn control of games to secure safety.
