Lee Hendrie fearful for Frank Lampard and Everton in relegation scrap
Lee Hendrie has insisted that the “odds are stacked against” Frank Lampard and his Everton team amid their Premier League relegation battle.
The 2-0 defeat at Anfield equalled a club record eight losses on the bounce away from home for the Blues.
With Burnley usurping to Toffees in 17th and a tough run of fixtures still to play, Hendrie can’t see it getting any better at Goodison Park.

He told Sky Sports: “You only have to look at the form, I think it’s two wins in ten, and you just think to yourself ‘where is it going to get better for Everton?’
“The fixtures that they’ve got coming up, I think the odds are really stacked against them.
“What’s made it ten times worse for them is obviously Burnley going and turning a massive corner, getting results, getting that form guide back up to scratch.”
He added: “I feel that the odds are stacked against Lamps at the minute and I really do feel for him.”
Disastrous.
The odds are stacked against Everton. They have such a difficult run of fixtures it is hard to see where they will be able to pick up points from.

Watford is by far the easiest out of the lot but the Blues’ away form this season has been tragic and they have their own place in the Premier League to fight for no matter how unlikely their survival is.
Brentford at home looks to be next in line but they have done excellently in their first season back with the big boys and will aim to finish as strongly as possible whilst eyeing a top ten finish.
Lampard might have to bank on beating one of the big boys such as Chelsea or Arsenal as they did against Manchester United but that is far from a guarantee.
Their last game at Goodison Park this season comes in the shape of Crystal Palace who are enjoying a brilliant season under Patrick Viera. The former Chelsea boss will be desperate to put them back in their place after the FA Cup embarrassment and more importantly put some points on the board.
It is impossible to judge where the Blues are going to get points from in their remaining six games, hopefully, they get them from somewhere though.
