Dominic Calvert-Lewin appears to have trained ahead of Everton v Chelsea

Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin appears to have completed his full training session today ahead of the Premier League clash against Chelsea.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the England international “seemed to take full part” in the session and he was spotted having chats with Duncan Ferguson.

The Toffees striker missed the last few games with an injury and it remains to be seen whether he is drafted into the starting line-up.

Huge game

The stage is nicely set for the Toffees to put up a strong fight against Chelsea and get a positive result.

With Burnley winning their game 2-1 against Watford, they have now taken a five-point lead, albeit having played two games more.

Leeds United are on the same points as them after they lost 4-0 against Manchester City at Elland Road on Saturday.

It means the Toffees must get a positive result and close the gap with the two in front of them.

Their away form has been horrendous for Everton, and it’s their home performances they will be counting on.

Chelsea are a strong opponent, but the Toffees must believe in themselves that they can pick up a win at home.

Will Calvert-Lewin return to the starting line-up? He has been out of form this season and has struggled with injuries.

At the same time, he is a quality player and getting him back on the pitch will be a huge boost for the club.
