Gary Lineker tweets instant reaction to massive Everton win v Chelsea at Goodison Park
Gary Lineker was blown away by Everton after Frank Lampard’s side won 1-0 against Chelsea at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Richarlison’s goal early in the second half means the Blues are now just two points away from safety with a game in hand on 17th-placed Leeds.
It was a mightily impressive display by the Toffees and Lineker made his followers aware that he thought that on Twitter.

“Massively important win for Everton,” said Lineker via his personal Twitter account on Sunday in an instant reaction to the full-time whistle.
“Very disciplined and well organised performance. It ain’t over yet.”
Wow
We’re lost for words.
That. Was. Incredible.
Evertonians, take a bow. You were the real stars of the show on Sunday with the fans causing huge disruption to Chelsea and then making such an amazing atmosphere both inside and outside of Goodison Park.
With you behind them, even this average, mismatched mess of a squad was able to pull themselves together and provide us with something special.
Yes, the win was down to a defensive mistake by Chelsea but so what?
Demarai Gray and Richarlison did so well between them to get the goal while we cannot rave enough about the saves that Jordan Pickford made in that second half to keep the score at 1-0.
Every single one of those players can hold their heads high. Even Salomon Rondon for that wonderful bit of timewasting at the end that almost resulted in him being able to get a goal too.
Of course, the battle against relegation isn’t over but this twist on Sunday puts Everton in good stead going into their final games.
In other Everton news, Stan Collymore has taken a big swipe at this 25-year-old who he suggests is taking the Blues down to the Championship.
