Sporting satisfied with Everton goalkeeper Joao Virginia, want cheap loan deal
Sporting are keen to sign Everton goalkeeper Joao Virginia on loan next summer once again.
Virginia joined the Lisbon outfit on loan in the summer and has struggled for regular games.
According to a report from A Bola, Sporting are “satisfied” with his professionalism in training, and they see him as a perfect second choice option behind Antonio Adan.

Virginia has a contract at the club till 2024. They want to extend the loan deal but this time only on a cheaper agreement.
Get rid
Everton must not hesitate in selling him in the summer transfer window, even if it is on a cheaper agreement.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper doesn’t seem to have a future at the Merseyside club, and it’s better for his career if he moves elsewhere and plays regularly.
At Everton, it’s impossible for him to replace Jordan Pickford from the starting line-up. Irrespective of where the Toffees finish at the end of the season, it’s time for him to leave permanently.

However, Virginia must ask himself whether a move to Sporting again will benefit him in the long run? The answer is No.
At best, he will get odd games and will have to wait for his chances if Adan gets injured. He won’t be playing regularly. At his age, regular football is a must for his growth.
If possible, the Toffees should send him to Championship clubs on loan or permanently. Nevertheless, he is stuck in limbo at the moment.
Everton are 18th in the Premier League this season, and the Toffees are fighting for survival.
In other Everton news, one Sky Sports pundit has dismissed any Chelsea firework-related excuse claims while hailing “excellent” Toffees players.
