Peter Reid makes relegation prediction ahead of Everton clash v Leicester
Everton will face Leicester City away from home in their next Premier League game on Sunday (8 May).
The Toffees are fighting for survival this season, and Peter Reid is unsure whether they will be able to avoid the drop.
Leeds United and Burnley are the other two clubs who are in the relegation mix. Norwich City are already relegated, while Watford are certain to go down as well.

Reid said to The Daily Mirror (8 May, page 61): “You’re surprised to see them down because of the amount they’ve spent.
“But one thing in football which is sacrosanct is that the league table doesn’t lie. That’s a fact that Everton are in the bottom three, Leeds and Burnley are above them and it’s a dogfight.
“In every game you’ve to pay huge respect to your opponent because that’s what football is like.
“I’d be lying if I said I knew. If you give me £100 and say lay it on, I would not have a clue.”
Huge game
The Toffees managed a 1-1 draw in the corresponding fixture at Goodison Park. They need at least a draw from this game.
They are heading into this game on the back of a strong 1-0 win against Chelsea which has given them a huge confidence boost.
However, it’s the away form that is bothering them. That is precisely why they are gasping for breath.

Under Frank Lampard, the Toffees have failed to manage a win away from home. They have to get points from their visits, and these are the games they must aim to win.
The Foxes are a good side but they have struggled badly this season. They are out of the top half of the table and are heading into this game on the back of a defeat against AS Roma.
So, Everton have a good chance here of picking up a point. With Leeds facing Arsenal, the Toffees have a chance to leapfrog them if the results fo in their way.
In other Everton news, Paul Merson has defended a “world-class” Toffee against “unfair” criticism.
