Stan Collymore predicts Everton scoreline in Premier League showdown v Leicester
Stan Collymore has backed Everton to grab what could turn out to be an important point away at Leicester on Sunday.
While a point wouldn’t be enough for the Blues to move out of the Premier League’s relegation zone, it would stand them in good stead going into their remaining games.
Leicester were knocked out of the Europa Conference League by Roma on Thursday night (5 May).

That European tie is likely to lead to tiredness among Brendan Rodgers’ squad, according to Collymore, who predicts the game to end 1-1 at the King Power.
“The Foxes’ European involvement will work in Everton’s favour,” said Collymore in the Sunday People [8 May, page 40].

Dreadful away record
Everton’s away record is the worst in the Premier League.
Frank Lampard is yet to taste victory while on the road while the Blues’ last away win in the Premier League came at Brighton in August.
It’s been a joke of a run, if we’re honest and while Collymore predicts the game to end as a draw at Leicester on Sunday, we feel as though it’s time to win away.
Collymore’s right about Leicester.
They’ll be shattered after their European exploits and we feel as though that will affect their performance at the King Power against the Toffees.
Obviously, that works massively in our favour, especially when the players will be on cloud nine after their victory over Chelsea last week.
Everton are slowly but surely moving in the right direction and while we’re sat in the bottom three eight days into May, we have a good feeling about getting out of the relegation zone by the time the full-time whistle is blown in Leicester.
In other Everton news, Collymore has taken a big swipe at this 25-year-old who he suggests is taking the Blues down to the Championship.
